Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenny Lewis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, John Meyer! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis misses with a double jab
and Meyer counters with a stiff right hand. Lewis throws a right hand that Meyer ducks under and follows up with a left that Meyer also avoids with ease. Lewis throws a combination. Meyer tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Meyer dodges the punch combination from Lewis.
Meyer scores with a takedown into Lewis's guard. Lewis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Meyer throws a strike but Lewis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Meyer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewis defends well. Meyer keeping moving, preventing Lewis from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis postures up in Meyer's guard and throws a big left but Meyer blocks it. Lewis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lewis is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Meyer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lewis is looking to defend but Meyer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lewis! Meyer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lewis taps out and this one is all over!
