The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweeney fails with the takedown
and Sparing makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sparing listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Sweeney takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Ben Sweeney has been cut.
Sweeney tries for a takedown but Sparing circles away easily
enabling Sparing to counter with a crisp jab.
Sweeney with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sparing counters with a two punch combo.
Wrestling Sparing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Sweeney.
Sparing closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sparing lands in his opponent's guard.
