The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desmond cracks the inside of Nub's front leg.
Desmond feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nubs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Punski Nub has been cut.
Desmond throws a sloppy head kick and Nub moves out of range easily.
Nub misses with a hook. Desmond ducked under it nicely.
Desmond connects with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nub on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Nub looks gassed!
Desmond lands with a thumping leg kick.
Desmond bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Nub! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Nub is rocked!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Desmond's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Nub is still in real trouble! Can Desmond finish him?
Desmond passes Nub's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Desmond scores with a big shot! Nub's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Nub! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erik Desmond!
