Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diesel Kreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreedy comes into the arena with Can't Stop blaring out of the sound system. Machida is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rev Theory - Hell Yeah . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida tries for a takedown but Kreedy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kreedy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Machida manages to avoid it.
Machida takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Machida wants to clinch but Kreedy slips to the side
and Kreedy counters with an outside leg kick.

and Kreedy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Machida takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kreedy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Machida looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kreedy swings for the body but Machida moves out of range.
Diesel Kreedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Machida is rocked!
Machida tries to improve position but can't.

Kreedy in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Machida is still in real trouble! Can Kreedy finish him?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Machida wants to control but Kreedy postures up.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Machida sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kreedy is nestled in close to Machida, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kreedy is taking a breather. Machida says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kreedy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Machida to get to his feet.
Machida seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Machida is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kreedy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kreedy connects with a right that clearly hurt Machida. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Kreedy proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Machida collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diesel Kreedy!
Diesel Kreedy spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
