Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torchy Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simba King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin comes to the cage accompanied by Headstrong. Simba King is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Torchy Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simba King!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Austin clinches up with King and pushes him back against the cage.
King looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
King lands a damaging elbow.

King pulls guard.
Austin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
King keeping full guard, as Austin tries to pass.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if King can do anything to dispel that myth.
Austin wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Austin gets to his feet. King looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

King gets a double leg takedown into Austin's guard.

Austin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Austin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Austin is adopting a defensive guard.
King postures up.
King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Austin working for a triangle but King defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Austin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

King throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Austin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Austin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Austin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.
King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Austin controls the pace.

Austin gets to his feet - King follows without any prompting.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Austin defends it nicely.
Austin doesn't manage to clinch there - King circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Austin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Austin gets slowly back to his feet.
Austin slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Austin moves into the clinch successfully.
Austin just leaning against King, taking a breather.
Austin tries to pull guard but King forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
King is looking for a takedown.
Torchy Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simba King.
King tries to work over Austin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Austin wants a takedown but no success here.

Austin breaks the clinch.
King shoots in looking for a takedown. Austin tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Austin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Austin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. King is trying to defend but Austin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Austin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for King to stand up.
Austin fails with a takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Austin to the ground. King is now in Austin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Austin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Torchy Austin dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



King rushes Austin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Austin.
Austin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Austin as he jumps to the side.
Austin misses with a double jab.
Austin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Austin rushes King and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Austin fails to land the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Austin leaves King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Austin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Austin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.
Torchy Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simba King.
Austin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Austin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in King's half guard.
King tries to roll over but Austin keeps him under control.
Austin thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.

Austin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Austin is taking a breather. King says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
King won't allow Austin to pass to mount.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Austin drops an elbow to the side of King's head.

Austin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Austin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for King!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King taking shots to the head.

Austin has hold of King's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and King manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
King is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Austin trying to control but King is having none of it.
King is bucking up trying to escape but Austin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Austin avoids the attempt from King to control.
Austin content just to control the position here.
King is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Torchy Austin dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Austin just misses with a punch to the body.

King tries to sprawl but Austin drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Austin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for King!

Austin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as King is looking to escape.

Austin is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
No luck for Austin with that takedown attempt.
King fails with a takedown attempt.
Austin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Austin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Austin stuffs the takedown.

Austin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
King is trying to buck Austin off.
Austin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down King's shoulder. That is not cool.

Austin is trying to get an arm triangle but King is defending well.
Check out the look on Austin's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Austin wants to control but King is keeping him busy.

Austin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. King knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
King is not content to let Austin control the position.

Austin stands up and beckons King to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
King shoots in for a takedown but Austin shows good takedown defense.
Torchy Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simba King.

King gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Austin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Austin pushes down on King's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Austin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that King can do to turn this around?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Austin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Torchy Austin showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Austin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
