Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliva lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kansas backs up against the cage.
Sliva throws a head kick that half lands.
Kansas pushes Sliva up against the cage in a clinch.
Kansas is struggling to control the position.
Sliva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kansas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kansas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kansas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sliva has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kansas after a bit of a struggle.
Sliva wants to take the fight to the mat but Kansas manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Sliva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kansas gets control of Sliva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kansas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kansas is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Sliva takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

Sliva is looking to work some ground and pound but Kansas has wrist control.
Kansas looking for a guillotine here but Sliva defends easily.

Sliva with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Sliva makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sliva wants to get up but he can't break Kansas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sliva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sliva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kansas has momentary wrist control but Sliva slips an elbow through the middle.
Kansas seems keen to control Sliva's posture.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sliva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kansas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sliva throwing strikes from guard but Kansas blocks nicely.
Kansas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sliva defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Sliva wants to control from the top but Kansas keeps moving.
Kansas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sliva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kansas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sliva trying to control but Kansas is working from the bottom.
Sliva is working Kansas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kansas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kansas looks gassed!
Sliva wants to stand but Kansas is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kansas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sliva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kansas wants to sweep here but Sliva controlling him for the moment.
Sliva wants to control from the top but Kansas keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sliva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sliva duly obliges.
Kansas shoots in looking for a takedown. Sliva tries to sprawl out of it but Kansas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sliva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A left and a right from Sliva both land. Nice combination.
Kansas is rocked!
Sliva shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Kansas is on queer street and Sliva is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Matt Sliva!
