Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Matt Bateman has been cut.
Bateman blocks a leg kick.
Bateman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bateman throws a low kick but Brehmer moves out of range easily.
Some wild striking there from Brehmer.
Brehmer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brehmer cracks Bateman with an uppercut from hell and Bateman crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Brehmer's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Bateman is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brehmer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bateman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brehmer is looking to defend but Bateman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brehmer! Bateman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brehmer taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matt Bateman!
