Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger D Roger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saffron Burrows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roger kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jedi Mind Tricks - On the Eve of War (Instrumental). 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger D Roger! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saffron Burrows! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Roger both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Saffron Burrows has been cut. Roger connects with a single shot there.

Burrows is rocked! Roger fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Burrows checks it well. Burrows is still on wobbly legs! Can Roger finish him? Burrows takes a shot right to the bread basket. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burrows drives through with a takedown into Roger's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Roger throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roger regains full guard. Nicely done. Burrows throws an elbow that misses. Roger uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Burrows's guard. Nice move by Roger!
Burrows scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Roger cracks Burrows with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A slow jab from Burrows misses its intended target. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Burrows, right into the meat.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Roger lands with a kick to the temple. Burrows shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Roger scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Burrows. Burrows working the head and body with strikes. Burrows thows a huge punch but Roger dodges it nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Roger D Roger will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Saffron Burrows's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Burrows bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Roger's head. Roger D Roger is winning the standup battle so far. Roger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Burrows. Roger goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Burrows keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Roger connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Burrows to the floor! Roger dives in looking for the finish! This has been an exciting period of action! Burrows is looking for a sweep. Roger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Burrows is trying to control but can't.
Burrows moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Burrows keeping full guard, as Roger tries to pass. Burrows is controlling Roger's posture. Burrows keeping moving, preventing Roger from controlling successfully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Burrows preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burrows controlling Roger's posture. Roger wants to control from the top but Burrows keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Roger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Burrows throws a jab but it's blocked by Roger. Burrows misses the shot to the body. Burrows moves out of range as Roger throws a body kick.
Burrows connects with a right hand. Roger shakes it off. Roger misses with an uppercut. Burrows saw that one coming. Burrows throws a lazy right hand but Roger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Burrows darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burrows accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Roger wants to sweep here but Burrows controlling him for the moment. Burrows trying to control but Roger is working from the bottom.
Roger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burrows gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Roger is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Burrows rolls with it to try and escape but Roger cranks on the arm and Burrows is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
