Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Harvath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez has chosen Why Cant we Be Friends! as his entrance music. Jesus Gonzalez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dirk Harvath's chin.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvath moves in looking to clinch but Gonzalez pushes him off.
Harvath thumps Gonzalez with a low kick.
Harvath throws a head kick that misses.
Gonzalez blocks a leg kick.
Harvath dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gonzalez. That did some damage!
Gonzalez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Harvath counters with a good low kick that Gonzalez was not able to check.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Harvath.

Gonzalez throws a nice looking combination but Harvath bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Harvath tries to land a leg kick but Gonzalez saw it coming and moves away.
Gonzalez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Harvath checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Harvath lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gonzalez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gonzalez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gonzalez throws the left hand but Harvath avoids the punch easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harvath thumps Gonzalez with a low kick.
Gonzalez checks a leg kick.
Harvath takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gonzalez misses with a looping left.
Harvath throws a head kick that misses
and Gonzalez counters with a straight right hand.
Gonzalez checks a leg kick nicely.
Harvath throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gonzalez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Harvath throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Gonzalez cracks Harvath with a right hand to the side of the head.
Harvath throws a chopping leg kick but Gonzalez manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Harvath gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gonzalez clobbers Harvath with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gonzalez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Harvath lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gonzalez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Harvath. Harvath obviously looking to wear him down.

Gonzalez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Harvath drives through and clinches with Gonzalez against the cage.

Gonzalez's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Harvath is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gonzalez is defending well for now.

Harvath is trying to break the clinch but Gonzalez has him pressed against the cage.

Harvath's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gonzalez moves out of range of the leg kick from Harvath.
Harvath moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harvath lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gonzalez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
BOOM! Harvath lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gonzalez. Gonzalez tries to recover but Harvath is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gonzalez lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk Harvath!
A determined Dirk Harvath didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
