Madej comes to the cage accompanied by Skrillex - First Of The Year. Jakub Madej has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Muzaffer Unsal! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madej looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Unsal fails in his attempt to clinch. Unsal tries to clinch up. Unsal takes a swing at Madej's ribcage but misses. Madej is looking to clinch but Unsal is avoiding it.
Unsal looks for a takedown but Madej sprawls well. Madej lands an overhand right. Madej throws a sloppy head kick and Unsal moves out of range easily. Madej tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Unsal paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jakub Madej seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Unsal leaves Madej with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Madej shoots in looking for a takedown but Unsal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Madej's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Unsal closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Unsal breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Unsal shoots for a double leg takedown but Madej sprawls well. He's pushed Unsal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Unsal throws a head kick that Madej semi-blocks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Unsal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Madej has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Unsal has managed to get both his arms back between Madej's legs - danger averted. Madej wants to stand and escape but Unsal is having none of it. Madej avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Unsal looking to pass the guard. Unsal gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Unsal forces Madej back against the cage and clinches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Madej is trying to force a seperation but Unsal has the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Unsal changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Madej fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Madej throws a nice looking combination but Unsal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Muzaffer Unsal will probably get the nod. That's time! Madej's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Madej lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Unsal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Madej but Madej pushes him off and we're back to square one. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Unsal is defended easily by Madej. Jakub Madej has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Muzaffer Unsal. Madej tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Unsal paws at him with a jab and circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Madej. Jakub Madej is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Unsal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Madej scores with a decent looking hook. Madej is trying hard to land a takedown here. Unsal sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Unsal shoots in for a takedown but Madej shows good takedown defense. Unsal thows a body shot but no joy. Jakub Madej is winning the standup battle so far.

Unsal turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Unsal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Madej.

Unsal staggers backwards, shaken. Unsal shoots in but Madej avoids the takedown attempt easily. Madej shoots in and drives through. Unsal sprawls well. Unsal fails with the takedown. Unsal gets tackled into the cage by Madej. Madej maintains the clinch.

Unsal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Madej shoots in looking for a takedown. Unsal tries to sprawl out of it but Madej keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Unsal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. No luck with that takedown attempt from Unsal. Nice takedown defense from Madej. No joy for Unsal on that attempt. Madej tries to close the distance and clinch but Unsal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Madej throws a body punch but Unsal moves out of range. Unsal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Madej circles away quickly and effectively. This has been an exciting period of action! Madej is looking to clinch but Unsal is avoiding it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jakub Madej will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Unsal walks away with a smile on his face. Madej gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakub Madej. That's going to take a lot out of him. Unsal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Madej as he jumps to the side. Unsal swats away the attempt to clinch by Madej.

Unsal gets control of Madej's arms and successfully pulls guard. Unsal will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Unsal not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Madej gets to his feet - Unsal follows without any prompting. Unsal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Madej tries to score with a low kick but Unsal moves his leg out of the way. Unsal rushes Madej and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Muzaffer Unsal. I think Unsal has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
