The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pushkar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pushkar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Emelia stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pushkar lands a slapping body shot.
Emelia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pushkar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pushkar thuds his shin into the meat of Emelia's side.
Emelia looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pushkar feints a jab promting Emelia to slip. Pushkar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Emelia slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Pushkar lands a nice hook to Emelia's body. Emelia takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pushkar, as that shot connected.
Pushkar lands a front kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Pushkar scores with a four punch combination!
Pushkar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Emelia.
Pushkar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pushkar lands in his opponent's guard.
Pushkar's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pushkar scoring with punches to the head and body.
Pushkar passes into half guard.
Pushkar maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Emelia could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pushkar has cracked it and Emelia is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pushkar!
