Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roma Lohov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lohov slaps away a takedown attempt from Allen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Allen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lohov was covering up waiting for the punch and Allen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lohov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Allen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Allen postures up in Lohov's guard and throws a big left but Lohov blocks it.
Allen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Allen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lohov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lohov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're going to have a standup here because Mateus Allen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Allen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Allen closes the distance and clinches up with Lohov, looking for a takedown. Allen pushes Lohov against the cage but Lohov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Allen fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mateus Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lohov thows a leg kick but Allen checks it
and Allen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lohov thinking.
Allen shoots in for a takedown but Lohov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Allen stays in close to Lohov's body and controls the position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lohov can't keep his opponent in guard - Allen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Allen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mateus Allen just wasn't active enough.
Lohov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Allen.
Roma Lohov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Allen scores with a takedown into Lohov's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mateus Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Allen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Allen chips away with some ground and pound.
Lohov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Allen connects with a couple of short punches.

Allen passes into half guard.
Allen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Allen throwing shots but Lohov is blocking nicely.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Allen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Allen connects with a nice short shot to Lohov's temple.
Lohov is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Allen lands a big elbow - Lohov is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Allen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mateus Allen!
Our winner, Mateus Allen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
