Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tsuyoshi Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuki Zaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsuyoshi Watanabe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Zaki! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zaki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zaki gets a clinch. Zaki looking to stall.
Watanabe jumps into guard, dragging Zaki to the mat.
Watanabe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Zaki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Zaki trying to stand up but can't free himself from Watanabe's guard. Watanabe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Zaki wants to stand but Watanabe is controlling his posture from full guard. Watanabe controls Zaki momentarily but Zaki frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaki throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zaki wanted to stand there but Watanabe had control of the position. Watanabe has his feet on Zaki's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Zaki with a jab. Yuki Zaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Zaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Zaki throws a lazy right hand but Watanabe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Watanabe moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Zaki jabs Watanabe to the body, keeping him at a distance. Watanabe fails to land the takedown. Zaki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Zaki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Watanabe momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaki gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Watanabe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zaki is keeping the position for now. Watanabe stops Zaki from standing up. Watanabe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Zaki, up you get! Nice sprawl there from Zaki as Watanabe shoots in. Watanabe wants to clinch. Zaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Watanabe circles away.
Zaki has closed the distance and engaged Watanabe in a clinch.
Zaki makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Zaki lands a left hand that snaps the head of Watanabe backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaki scores with a shot to the side of Watanabe's head. Zaki is trying to force a seperation but Watanabe has the dominant position. Watanabe has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zaki avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsuyoshi Watanabe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zaki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Zaki lands a nice looking body shot.
Zaki lands with a shot to the body. Watanabe is breathing heavily. Zaki lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Watanabe takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Zaki connects with a looping right hand.
Zaki leaves Watanabe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Watanabe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Zaki stuns Watanabe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! A jab lands there for Zaki.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zaki scores with a sloppy right hand. Watanabe should have avoided that one. Jab, jab by Zaki - just one landing. Zaki scores with a crisp jab that stopped Watanabe in his tracks. Zaki lands a right hook to the body.

Good shot there by Zaki. Watanabe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Zaki tries to bum rush Watanabe with a series of wild strikes but Watanabe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Watanabe fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zaki lands a two punch combo.
Watanabe shoots for a double leg takedown but Zaki sprawls well. He's pushed Watanabe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuki Zaki dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Watanabe takes one to the chin there. Watanabe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Zaki moves into the clinch. Watanabe breaks the clinch.
Zaki blocks a jab. Zaki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Watanabe doesn't seem bothered though. Tsuyoshi Watanabe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zaki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Watanabe is looking to clinch but Zaki is avoiding it.

Watanabe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zaki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Watanabe scrambles back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Watanabe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Watanabe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zaki is fending him off so far but Watanabe persists. Nope, Zaki circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaki works the jab nicely. Tsuyoshi Watanabe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice cross by Zaki. Zaki cracks a nice hook into Watanabe's ribs. Zaki stuns Watanabe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Watanabe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Watanabe is rocked! Watanabe drives through with a takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zaki is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Zaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Zaki has Watanabe pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zaki can't keep his opponent in guard - Watanabe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Watanabe is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Watanabe is looking to take a break and control but Zaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watanabe stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Zaki to get to his feet. Watanabe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Watanabe somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsuyoshi Watanabe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zaki throws a one two combo.
Watanabe shoots in looking for a takedown but Zaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Watanabe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zaki looks to land a combination. Watanabe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A jab from Zaki finds it's way through Watanabe's defenses. Zaki clinches with his opponent.

A short right from Zaki. Zaki lands on the inside with an uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuki Zaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Watanabe is trying to maintain a safe position but Zaki gets an underhook and turns Watanabe into the cage. Zaki throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Watanabes head. Zaki lands on the inside with an uppercut. Watanabe looking to slow down the pace here. Zaki lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Zaki scores with a nice hook to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Watanabe prevents Zaki from breaking the clinch. Zaki digs a right hand underneath Watanabe's ribcage. Watanabe let out a lung full of air as it connected. Zaki lands a left hand.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Zaki scores with a shot to the side of Watanabe's head. Watanabe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zaki is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Watanabe is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zaki pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watanabe prevents Zaki from breaking the clinch. Zaki throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Watanabes head. Zaki is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Watanabe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zaki fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Watanabe takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Zaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Watanabe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Watanabe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zaki's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zaki can do anything to dispel that myth. Watanabe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Watanabe trying to control but Zaki is working from the bottom. Watanabe wanted to stand there but Zaki had control of the position. Zaki is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Watanabe is controlling him. Zaki has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tsuyoshi Watanabe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zaki is looking to stand up but Watanabe isn't so interested in that idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Watanabe fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Yuki Zaki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Zaki winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
