PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blake Leoniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralf Jem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ralf Jem was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jem shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Leoniel is looking for a sweep. Jem is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Well, if Jem is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jem drops an elbow to the side of Leoniel's head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jem postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Leoniel looks a forlorn figure.

Leoniel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Jem closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jem is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Leoniel is just riding it out for now. Jem eventually gives up the hold.

Jem shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jem showed some decent athleticism there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
