Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Dardar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dardar has chosen Ten seconds to Love as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Dardar! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch but Dardar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dardar lands a jab to the head.
Liddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dardar tries to avoid it but Liddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dardar to the ground. Dardar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Liddell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dardar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Liddell. A left and a right from Dardar both land. Nice combination. Dardar misses with a two punch combination.

Jesse Dardar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dardar misses with a few strikes there.
A left lands for Dardar. Liddell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Liddell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Liddell has closed the distance and engaged Dardar in a clinch.
Liddell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Liddell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dardar's guard. Dardar is looking for a triangle but Liddell pushes his legs off easily.
Dardar has his foot on Liddell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Liddell works his way back into a safe position though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Liddell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Liddell misses with a head kick.
Liddell throws a front kick aimed at Dardar's knee but Dardar avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dardar paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fighters circling - Liddell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Liddell gets a clinch. Dardar blocks an uppercut.
Dardar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Liddell has him pressed against the cage. Dardar is trying to break the clinch but Liddell has him pressed against the cage. Dardar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Liddell swinging wilding here.
Jesse Dardar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dardar misses with the combination.

Liddell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Liddell trying to control the action but Dardar is working from the bottom. Dardar throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Dardar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Liddell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dardar's calf. No joy there for Dardar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dardar works over Liddell's head and body with a nice combination. Dardar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Liddell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Liddell is breathing heavily. Dardar throws a combination. Liddell tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dardar lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dardar. Dardar clobbers Liddell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dardar catches Liddell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Dardar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Liddell's head backwards. Dardar works over Liddell's head and body with a nice combination. Liddell on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dardar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dardar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Liddell counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Dardar throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

and Liddell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dardar won't be happy with that. Liddell prevents Dardar from escaping the position. Dardar is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell decides to stand back up. Liddell steps back and let's Dardar get back to his feet. Liddell scores a takedown into full mount! Dardar is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Dardar can't escape the position.
Liddell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dardar on the ground. Dardar sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Dardar actively working from the bottom here. Dardar is looking to escape. Dardar moves into full guard.
Dardar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Liddell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dardar has his feet on Liddell's thighs here. He's pushed Liddell off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Liddell screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
