And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts throws a sloppy head kick and Rhodes moves out of range easily.
Roberts pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rhodes tries to clinch but Roberts is having none of it.
Good standup being displayed there by Rhodes as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Jake Roberts has been cut.
Roberts throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Rhodes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rhodes clinches up with Roberts and pushes him back against the cage.
Rhodes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Roberts.
Rhodes lands an uppercut.

Rhodes breaks the clinch.
Rhodes blocks a jab.
Roberts will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Roberts should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Roberts throws a head kick but Rhodes moves out of range.
Rhodes blocks a head kick by Roberts.

Rhodes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Roberts, pushing him back against the cage.

Rhodes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Roberts just misses with a punch to the body.

Rhodes lands a big uppercut and Roberts crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Roberts looks OK. Rhodes waves Roberts back to his feet!

That has opened up Jake Roberts's cut even more.
Roberts looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rhodes walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Roberts drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rhodes swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Roberts's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
