Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hector Lombard kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaakko Parantainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Evans!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parantainen lands a head kick!
Evans throws a right and a left that Parantainen avoids nicely.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Evans feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jaakko Parantainen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Evans looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Parantainen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Parantainen pushes down on Evans's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Parantainen is keen to just control but Evans is a slippery customer.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Jaakko Parantainen will probably get the nod.

Evans throws a left that rocks Parantainen and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Evans dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Parantainen regain composure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Evans scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Parantainen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Evans can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Evans!
After the fight, Anthony Evans was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
