The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Emelianov.
Levesque throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Levesque will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Emelianov lands a jab to Levesque's midsection.

Emelianov gets the takedown into side control.
Levesque pushes Emelianov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Emelianov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Emelianov uses his free foot to push down on Levesque's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Levesque.

Emelianov stalks Levesque and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Levesque's face. Levesque staggers backwards, shaken.
Levesque shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Emelianov sprawls well. Emelianov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Levesque gets slowly back to his feet.
