Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyko doesn't manage to clinch there - Slapp circles away.
Boyko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A left lands for Slapp.
Slapp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slapp throws a left and a right that both miss

and Boyko counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Slapp is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boyko is controlling him.
Boyko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Slapp wants to get back to his feet but Boyko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Slapp scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Slapp lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Boyko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Slapp tests Boyko's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Slapp scores with a nice head shot.
Boyko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Boyko is rocked!
Slapp lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Boyko falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
