Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Melward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bushi Llewtras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Melward has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Melward! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bushi Llewtras! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Melward gets tackled into the cage by Llewtras. Llewtras maintains the clinch. Llewtras gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Melward regains guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Melward had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Llewtras defends it easily. Melward throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Melward wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Llewtras trying to control the position from guard on top but Melward is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Melward has Llewtras pulled in close to control his posture.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Llewtras has Melward up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Llewtras is pressed up against the cage. Melward has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Llewtras down to the mat. Llewtras avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Llewtras shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Melward manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Melward keeping moving, preventing Llewtras from controlling successfully. Melward thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Llewtras trying to control but Melward is working from the bottom. Melward managing to control the position. Melward wants to stand and escape but Llewtras is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Llewtras throws a big elbow that misses. Melward will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Melward is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Llewtras shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Melward is doing well to control the position and prevent Llewtras from advancing to side control. Melward works his way to full guard. Good work. Llewtras trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Melward looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Llewtras trying to control but Melward is working from the bottom. Melward pulls Llewtras in to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Llewtras thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Melward lands an upkick as Llewtras stands over him. Melward looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Llewtras instigates a clinch. Llewtras should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Llewtras jumps guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Melward slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Melward controlling the position from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Melward throws a wild body kick that Llewtras sees coming a mile off. Llewtras scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Llewtras looks to land a strike but Melward avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Llewtras really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Melward. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Llewtras decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Melward shoots in but Llewtras avoids the takedown attempt easily. Melward lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Llewtras circles away quickly and effectively. Llewtras gets a takedown into half guard. Melward slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Llewtras is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Llewtras drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Melward scores with a short punch from the bottom. Melward is pulling down on Llewtras's head to control his posture. Melward working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Llewtras doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Llewtras manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Melward holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Melward will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Melward closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Llewtras's guard. Llewtras takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Llewtras tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Melward wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Melward throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Melward looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Llewtras can't do much from the bottom here.

He's locked it up tight! Llewtras's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Melward picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
