Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Nikifor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Potapkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikifor comes to the cage accompanied by Enae Volare Mezzo. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potapkin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nikifor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Potapkin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nikifor waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Potapkin. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Potapkin to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Nikifor stands and steps away. Potapkin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Potapkin is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Nikifor just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Potapkin has gone limp and this one is over!
