Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Koster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Mott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Koster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Mott! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koster throws a sloppy head kick and Mott moves out of range easily. Koster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mott avoids the head kick by Koster.
A head kick misses from Koster. Mott shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Koster napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Koster tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mott moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Mott lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Koster down.
Mott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Koster is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Mott moves into full mount! Mott lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Koster hang on? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mott lands a big elbow. Mott controlling the position easily from mount. Koster really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mott connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Koster is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koster taking shots to the head. Oh Koster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mott looking to control and managing it successfully. Mott unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Koster wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Mott celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Mott! A very excited looking John Mott rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
