Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Villia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Auto Pilot! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Villia. Villia looks for the body kick but Pilot saw that one coming. The fight moves into the clinch position. Villia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pilot wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Villia is trying to break the clinch but Pilot has him pressed against the cage. Pilot is trying to break free. Pilot avoids the elbow strike from Villia, against the cage.

Pilot is trying to maintain a safe position but Villia gets an underhook and turns Pilot into the cage. Villia goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pilot prevents it.

Villia will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Pilot stopping the sweep attempt from Villia.

Pilot might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Villia kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Villia is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Villia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pilot's guard. Villia throwing strikes from guard but Pilot blocks nicely. Pilot looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pilot tries to kick Villia off but Villia keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Villia in particular looking to stall. Villia thows a huge punch but Pilot dodges it nicely.
Pilot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Villia is working away from the top position though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Villia content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Anthony Villia has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Villia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pilot as he avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A head kick misses from Villia. Villia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pilot sprawls well. Pilot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Villia gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Villia will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Villia is pulling down on Pilot's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Villia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Pilot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Anthony Villia just wasn't active enough. A momentary lapse in concentration from Pilot enables Villia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pilot manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pilot wants to stand and escape but Villia is having none of it. Villia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Villia will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pilot looking to hit a scissor sweep but Villia is one step ahead there.

Pilot tries to avoid it but Villia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pilot to the ground. Pilot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pilot cracks the inside of Villia's front leg. Villia shoots in for a takedown but Pilot shows good takedown defense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pilot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pilot tries to clinch but Villia is having none of it. Pilot fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pilot lands a nice leg kick that just misses Villia's sensitive parts. Auto Pilot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pilot.

Pilot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pilot fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Villia. Pilot fails in his attempt to clinch. Pilot misses the body punch and Villia holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pilot misses with a punch to the body.
Villia can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Villia. That's going to take a lot out of him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pilot. Villia tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Pilot gets through Villia's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pilot lands with a left to the head. Pilot throws a punch but it's blocked by Villia. Pilot misses with a short punch on the inside. Pilot working hard to break the clinch. Pilot misses with a hook from the clinch. Pilot gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Villia.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Villia drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pilot pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pilot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pilot keeps Villia at a distance using the push kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pilot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Pilot throws a half hearted mid kick. Villia is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Villia gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Pilot taking a breather. Pilot wants to break the clinch but can't.

Pilot is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Pilot is trying to break the clinch but Villia is controlling him. A hook to the body from Pilot.

A head kick by Villia misses and Pilot counters with a nice body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Villia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pilot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Villia somewhat. Pilot chopping away at his opponent's legs.
And that's the end of the fight! Auto Pilot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Villia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
