Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robin Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and P.W. Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). W. Herman. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Herman closes the distance but Padilla moves to the side
and Padilla counters with a stiff right hand.
Herman doesn't manage to clinch there - Padilla circles away.
Herman blocks a head kick by Padilla.
Herman misses with a jab to the body
and Padilla cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Padilla blocks a jab.
A jab lands there for Padilla.
Herman swinging wildly here.
Herman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Padilla changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Padilla takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Herman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Padilla just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice cross by Padilla.
Herman looks to land a right hand but Padilla moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Herman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Herman drops his hands momentarily and Padilla takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Herman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Padilla.
Herman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Padilla.
Padilla missing with a left hand there. Herman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A punch lands to the side of Herman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Herman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Herman is rocked!
Padilla lands an uppercut, right on the button! Herman tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robin Padilla!
