Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jos Bos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Silverson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Silverson has a takedown stuffed.
Bos tries to bum rush Silverson with a series of wild strikes but Silverson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silverson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A big right from Bos misses.
Silverson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bos swivels and escapes.
Silverson takes one on the button.
Bos cracks Silverson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Silverson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bos pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Silverson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jos Bos!
