Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luis Di Maria!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chris closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Di Maria tries to avoid it but Chris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Di Maria to the ground. Di Maria escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Di Maria slaps away a takedown attempt from Chris, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Di Maria throws a shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Di Maria throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Di Maria throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chris.
Di Maria dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Di Maria throws a one two combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chris tries for a takedown but Di Maria circles away easily
and Di Maria counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luda Chris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Di Maria rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Di Maria lands a jab-cross combination.
Chris fails with the takedown
enabling Di Maria to counter with a crisp jab.
Chris is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Chris. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
and Di Maria counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Chris! He's just covering up as Di Maria starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
