Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pol Rawn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Derek Neder! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Rawn. Rawn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Neder pinned against the cage. Neder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Neder is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rawn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rawn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Neder defends it well. Neder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rawn is working away from the top position though. Rawn landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Rawn not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rawn not doing much here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rawn passes to side control. Rawn throws an elbow but Neder slips to the side and avoids it well. Neder tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rawn presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Neder is looking to get to half guard. Rawn working Neder over with strikes here. Rawn lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Neder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rawn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rawn trying to control but he's not successful this time. Neder is looking to get to half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Neder is bucking up trying to escape but Rawn cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Derek Neder has been cut. Rawn tries to control but Neder wriggling away. Rawn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Neder's face.
Rawn trying to control but he's not successful this time. Neder tries to hold on but Rawn pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neder is squirming around, avoiding Rawn's attempts to control the action. Rawn lands a big elbow. Neder is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rawn locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Neder is forced to tap!
