Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Weddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Weddle's choice of entrance music: remember the name - fort minor. Wes Weddle has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weddle just misses with a punch to the body.
Weddle throws a hook to the side of Sato's head but Sato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wes Weddle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sato on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sato blocks a leg kick.
Sato checks a low kick from Weddle.
Sato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An inside leg kick from Sato misses.
Weddle pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Sato throws a leg kick which misses Weddle's front leg but catches the back leg as Weddle tries to avoid it.

Weddle is trying to stand back up but Sato is controlling him
Sato is trying to control the action in half guard but Weddle is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sato is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Weddle to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Weddle shrugs it off.

Weddle's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Sato steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Weddle.

Sato feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Weddle's calf.
Sato dips to his left and cracks Weddle with an uppercut!

Sato fakes the body blow, causing Weddle to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Weddle goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
