Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boot Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden comes into the arena with From Hell by Faces Of Mars blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boot Head!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Jack Fadden has been cut.
Head cracks the inside of Fadden's front leg.
Head thumps Fadden with a low kick.
Head throws a leg kick but Fadden moved away.
Head throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Head throws a leg kick but Fadden checks it.
Head throws a leg kick that misses.
Head uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fadden.
Head misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Head defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fadden.

A chopping leg kick lands by Head.
Head throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Head throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fadden's head.

No joy there for Fadden, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fadden takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Head tries a head kick but it misses.
Fadden avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Fadden takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fadden throws a sloppy head kick and Head moves out of range easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Head turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Head thumps Fadden with a low kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fadden lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Boot Head is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Head fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fadden has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fadden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Head tries to avoid it but Fadden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Head to the ground. Head escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Fadden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Head fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boot Head dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jack Fadden's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Head lands a leg kick that knocks Fadden off balance momentarily.

Boot Head seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oh Fadden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jack Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Head has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fadden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Head paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Head lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fadden will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Fadden fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Fadden shoots in looking for a takedown but Head manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fadden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fadden shoots in looking for a takedown. Head tries to sprawl out of it but Fadden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Head manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Head obliges.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Fadden jumps guard but Head turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Head trying to control the position but instead, Fadden has worked for underhooks and has pushed Head into the cage.
Head creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Fadden's defenses.
Fadden is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Fadden tries to pull guard but Head forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Fadden on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Head tries to land a knee to the head but Fadden blocks with his arms.
Fadden blocks the elbow strike.
Head is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fadden is keeping busy.
Fadden tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fadden unloads a knee to the mid-section. Head lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

With the fighters up against the cage, Head throws an elbow but misses.

Fadden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Head is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Head tries to land a knee to the head but Fadden blocks with his arms.
Head tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fadden wants to break free but Head has control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Head is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fadden is defending well for now.
Jack Fadden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Boot Head comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Head winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
