Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie McJagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piper is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McJagger.
Piper is breathing heavily.
McJagger gets a double leg takedown into Piper's guard.
McJagger with a nice head shot there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McJagger works over Piper with some ground and pound from guard.
McJagger working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Piper's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McJagger landing with the ground and pound.
McJagger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Piper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Piper tries to get out of the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McJagger's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
McJagger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McJagger with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Piper is rocked!
McJagger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Piper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McJagger working some strikes from top position.
Oh Piper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McJagger loads up on a big left hand. Piper felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McJagger looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Piper can't hide his disappointment, as McJagger celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackie McJagger!
