Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyler Patel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Strawwhot Luppy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patel comes to the cage accompanied by T.I.- Big Things Poppin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyler Patel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Strawwhot Luppy! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patel slips under a jab from Luppy. Patel goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. No joy there for Patel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Luppy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Patel counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Luppy's guard now. Patel trying to control but Luppy is working from the bottom. Patel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Luppy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Luppy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Luppy! Luppy tries to stand but Patel is controlling his head. Patel sneaks back into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Patel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Patel is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luppy wants to stand but Patel has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Patel is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Patel trying to control but Luppy postures up.
Patel works his way to full guard. Good work. Patel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Luppy tries to stand but Patel is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Luppy looks gassed! Patel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Luppy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Luppy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Patel is proving hard to escape from. Patel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Luppy! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Patel sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patel is in the full mount, landing strikes. Patel controlling his opponent. Patel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Luppy for as long as he can get away with. BOOM! Patel connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patel is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Luppy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Patel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyler Patel dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Patel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Luppy's guard. Patel looking to pass the guard. Patel sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Luppy is looking to stand up but Patel isn't so interested in that idea. Luppy is breathing heavily.

Kyler Patel has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Patel gets a takedown into half guard. Patel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Still in half guard, Patel seems content to control. Patel is looking to advance position but Luppy won't allow it. Patel is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Luppy has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Luppy defends it well. Kyler Patel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Patel thows a huge punch but Luppy dodges it nicely.
Patel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Luppy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Patel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patel throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Luppy to regain full guard. Patel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Luppy being controlled here, momentarily. Patel stands up from Luppy's guard - Patel perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Patel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Patel in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Luppy is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kyler Patel! A very excited looking Kyler Patel rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
