Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patryk Piotrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patryk Piotrowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenneth Rice! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piotrowski doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Piotrowski wants to control but Rice is keeping busy and won't allow it. Piotrowski is concentrating on defense, preventing Rice from advancing position. Rice is figuring out what he wants to do next. Rice trying to pass the guard but Piotrowski defending well. Rice is controlling the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kenneth Rice was stalling too much, according to the referee. Piotrowski moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piotrowski turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Rice is trying to improve his position. Piotrowski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rice keeps working. You can see the frustration on Rice's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rice is looking to reverse the position. Rice gets back to half guard. Rice is trying is best to control the position here. Piotrowski prevents Rice from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Piotrowski is going to stand back up.
Rice gets full guard. Rice wants to sweep here but Piotrowski controlling him for the moment. Piotrowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Rice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rice thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rice wants to sweep here but Piotrowski controlling him for the moment. Piotrowski wants to control from the top but Rice keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Patryk Piotrowski. Rice stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rice wants it to stay on the feet. Piotrowski is breathing heavily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rice. Rice controls the position from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Piotrowski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Still in half guard, Rice seems content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kenneth Rice was stalling too much, according to the referee. Piotrowski misses with a takedown and Rice counters with a shoot takedown. Piotrowski fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patryk Piotrowski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rice controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rice's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Piotrowski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rice defends it nicely. Rice gets caught napping as Piotrowski dives in and scores a takedown. Rice manages to retain guard. Rice managing to control the position. Piotrowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rice wants to sweep but no luck. Rice is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Piotrowski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rice can't get the takedown.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Rice lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kenneth Rice wasn't active enough on the ground. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rice. Piotrowski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rice. Patryk Piotrowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenneth Rice. Rice throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Piotrowski was covering up waiting for the punch and Rice finishes the takedown easily into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Piotrowski is trying to control the position but Rice postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Piotrowski tries to sprawl but Rice drives through with a takedown into half guard. Piotrowski is trying to get back to full guard. Rice with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kenneth Rice wasn't active enough on the ground. Rice darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rice keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Piotrowski tries to roll over but Rice keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Piotrowski is looking to get back to full guard here but Rice has managed to pass to side control instead. Piotrowski can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenneth Rice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Rice shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Piotrowski is trying desperately to improve position. Rice controlling from mount. Let's hope that Rice has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Piotrowski is desperately trying to improve his position but Rice has a good base and remains in mount. Rice controlling his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
