The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knepp misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ballantyne.
A low kick from Ballantyne is predictable there
and Knepp counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ballantyne throws a leg kick which misses Knepp's front leg but catches the back leg as Knepp tries to avoid it.
Ballantyne motions for Knepp to come forward. Ballantyne throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Knepp scores with a hook to the body. Ballantyne takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice straight punches there by Ballantyne. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ballantyne.
Knepp tries to close the distance and clinch but Ballantyne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Knepp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ballantyne tries to avoid it but Knepp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ballantyne to the ground. Ballantyne escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ballantyne swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Knepp throws a nice looking combination but Ballantyne bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Knepp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ballantyne misses with a wild body shot.
Knepp is looking to wear down Ballantyne with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ballantyne takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ballantyne.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jebidiah Knepp will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ballantyne stays in close to Knepp's body and controls the position.
Knepp lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ballantyne!
