Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Williams! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danzig tries to score with a low kick but Williams moves his leg out of the way. The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Danzig throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Danzig tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Williams. John Danzig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danzig throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease. Danzig misses with a few strikes there.

Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Williams should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Horrible takedown by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Danzig which made him look bad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
