Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigoriy Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sand Man-Metallica. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grigoriy Rasputin! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rasputin is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Rasputin circles away and we're back to standing. Sanders has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rasputin is defending well against a takedown attempt. Sanders lands a body shot. Rasputin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Sanders wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rasputin has him pressed against the cage. Rasputin presses Sanders against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Sanders tightens his grip and picks Rasputin up, before dumping him to the ground. Rasputin manages to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanders landing with the ground and pound. Rasputin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanders manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sanders doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rasputin. Sanders misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rasputin is looking for a kimura but Sanders is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rasputin to get the leverage. Sanders is refusing to be controlled, as Rasputin sits in half guard. Rasputin wants to pass to mount but Sanders is defending the position. Sanders is looking to improve his position.

Let's hope that Rasputin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Rasputin looking for a sweep. Not yet Rasputin, not yet. Sanders throws a strike but Rasputin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sanders has his feet on Rasputin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sanders tries for a takedown but Rasputin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanders fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rasputin, pushing him back against the cage. Sanders is looking to take this one to the mat. Rasputin blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rasputin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sanders blocks it with crossed arms.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Sanders blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sanders on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rasputin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sanders avoids it. Rasputin working Sanders over with knees to the body. Rasputin lands an elbow inside that Sanders shrugs off.
It looks like Bruce Sanders has been cut. Sanders tries for a takedown but Rasputin manages to get underhooks.

Sanders is breathing heavily. Sanders has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rasputin regains guard immediately. Rasputin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rasputin controlling Sanders's posture. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin controls Sanders momentarily but Sanders frees himself. Sanders has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Grigoriy Rasputin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Rasputin forces Sanders back against the cage and clinches. Rasputin crunches a lovely knee into Sanders's ribcage. Sanders takes a knee right on the jaw!

Rasputin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sanders uses from the top position. Rasputin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rasputin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rasputin is on top in guard.

Rasputin controlling from the full mount. Sanders sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanders throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rasputin's waist but Rasputin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanders off to one side. Rasputin tries to clinch but Sanders moves out of range. Rasputin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sanders swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rasputin. Sanders does a little dance to reset his feet. Sanders fails with the takedown and Rasputin counters with a leg kick. Rasputin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sanders on his heels. He'll look to pass Sanders's guard now, I'm sure. Rasputin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rasputin stands and throws Sanders's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanders tries to bench press Rasputin off him but Rasputin keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders misses with an elbow from the bottom. Sanders prevents Rasputin from improving position. Rasputin wants to control but Sanders is keeping him busy. Sanders misses with a strike from the bottom. Rasputin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sanders is trying to escape and Rasputin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sanders is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rasputin! Very nice indeed!
