Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mandla Bangizwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tepes has chosen uncle otis- the game as his entrance music. Vlad Tepes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangizwe moves away from the strike by Tepes.
Tepes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bangizwe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tepes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tepes throws a hook but Bangizwe blocks it.
Tepes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bangizwe.
Tepes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bangizwe takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Tepes misses with a lunging right hand
and Bangizwe counters with a big head kick but Tepes shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tepes throws the left hand but Bangizwe avoids the punch easily.
Bangizwe wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bangizwe.
Tepes walks into a jab.
Bangizwe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
An inside leg kick from Bangizwe misses.

Bangizwe checks a leg kick nicely.
Tepes finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bangizwe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tepes.
Bangizwe thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tepes if he has to take too many more of those.
Tepes looks gassed!
Tepes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bangizwe fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tepes stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bangizwe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Tepes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Bangizwe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bangizwe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tepes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bangizwe.
Bangizwe fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tepes checks it well.
Bangizwe lands a nice looking body kick.
Bangizwe throws a head kick but Tepes moves out of range.
Bangizwe fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mandla Bangizwe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A slapping body kick lands there for Bangizwe.
The fighters circle, before Bangizwe throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tepes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bangizwe lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
