Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronald Frederman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Joe Fredericks!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fredericks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Frederman somewhat.
Fredericks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Frederman.
Fredericks lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fredericks smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fredericks is looking to slow Frederman down with leg kicks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fredericks lands a left and a right that send Frederman crashing to the mat, dazed. Fredericks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Frederman is rocked!
Fredericks lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Frederman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Frederman is breathing heavily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fredericks unloads a knee to the mid-section. Frederman lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Frederman seems to have got his legs back now.
Fredericks lands a body shot.
Fredericks lands an elbow just above Frederman 's eye.
Fredericks lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Frederman backwards.

Fredericks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fredericks cracks a nice hook into Frederman's ribs.

Fredericks lands a jab to Frederman's midsection.
Frederman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fredericks throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fredericks with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fredericks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A solid leg kick lands there for Fredericks.
Fredericks lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fredericks, right into the meat.

Frederman gets tackled into the cage by Fredericks. Fredericks maintains the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Fredericks.
Fredericks lands an elbow inside that Frederman shrugs off.
Frederman looking for a takedown.

Fredericks lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Frederman takes an elbow to the temple.

Fredericks breaks from the clinch.
Fredericks connects with a high kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fredericks.
Fredericks moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fredericks lands a nice hook to Frederman's body. Frederman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fredericks lands with an overhand left.
Fredericks scores with a nice right hand.
Fredericks drops Frederman with a naaaaasty hook - Frederman is in real trouble here! Fredericks dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Fredericks!
Joe Fredericks took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
