The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swiderski closes the distance and clinches. Savchuk drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Swiderski gets the underhooks and prevents it.

You can't force these things though and Savchuk defends well. This has been an exciting period of action! Swiderski is pulling down on Savchuk's head to control his posture. He catches Swiderski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Swiderski tries to improve position but can't. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Savchuk wants to stand but Swiderski is controlling his arm. You can see the frustration on Swiderski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Swiderski tries to get back to half guard but can't. Swiderski looks gassed! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Savchuk will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Savchuk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Swiderski is breathing heavily. Savchuk is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Savchuk is looking to stand up but Swiderski won't let him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savchuk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Swiderski. Swiderski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Savchuk paws at him with a jab and circles away. Savchuk scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Swiderski is trying to control but can't.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Swiderski shoots in but no luck this time. Swiderski gets caught napping as Savchuk dives in and scores a takedown. Swiderski manages to retain guard. Savchuk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Swiderski controls Savchuk momentarily but Savchuk frees himself. Swiderski looking for a guillotine here but Savchuk defends easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ivan Savchuk. Swiderski wants to clinch up but Savchuk keeps it at a distance. OK we're going to have a standup here. Lukasz Swiderski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Savchuk takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Swiderski is keeping the position for now. Savchuk engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Savchuk's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Swiderski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Savchuk has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Swiderski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Savchuk controlling the position well here. Swiderski rolled but Savchuk kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Savchuk showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Savchuk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
