Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Sacks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron St James! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sacks moves out of range of the body kick. Sacks darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sacks seems to be working for a kimura but St James defends the submission attempt. Sacks wants to lay and pray for a moment but St James keeps working. St James is trying to get back to full guard. Sacks is looking to take a break and control but St James is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! St James looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. St James is trying to get back to full guard. St James has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sacks is working away from the top position though. St James might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sacks kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. St James gets full guard. St James escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sacks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sacks trying to control the position from guard on top but St James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sacks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. St James working for a triangle but Sacks defends it easily.

Sacks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. St James swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sacks has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing St James to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sacks is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - St James pulls down on the head and he's put Sacks to sleep! This one is all over!
