Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabz Severi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Severi's entrance music is just a lil bit - 50 cent. A fine choice. David has chosen monster as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabz Severi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant David! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David fails with a takedown attempt. Severi stuffs the takedown attempt from David. David gets slowly back to his feet. David shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Severi as he avoids it easily. Gabz Severi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grant David. Severi misses with a few strikes there.
Severi throws a right and a left that David avoids nicely. Donk. Severi catches David right on the button with a cross. Severi falls off balance throwing a combination
and David moves into the clinch. Severi stops a takedown attempt from David.
That's one minute gone in the round. Severi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Severi scores with a three punch combo!
David tries to clinch up. Severi misses with a wild combination.
Severi connects with an inside leg kick. David looks for a takedown but Severi sprawls well. David closes the distance looking to clinch and Severi counters with a three punch combo that has David backing up. David nods at Severi to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David tries for a takedown but Severi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice cross by Severi. David tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Severi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. David throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Severi's waist but Severi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing David off to one side. David shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Severi pinned against the cage. Severi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

David throws a right and a left that both miss. Severi lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Severi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Severi throws a right and a left that both miss. David is trying desperately to land a takedown but Severi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for David. David dives in and grabs Severi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Severi pushes down on David's head and hops out. David throws a lazy right hand but Severi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

David shoots in and drives through. Severi sprawls well. David tries to clinch there but Severi circles away.
David wants to clinch up but Severi keeps it at a distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. David is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! David fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabz Severi dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Severi connects with a single shot there. Gabz Severi is winning the standup battle so far. Severi tries to bum rush David with a series of wild strikes but David uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Severi throws a combination that misses and David counters with a left to the body. David fails miserably with a takedown attempt. David closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Severi quickly recovers to half guard. David is looking to advance position but Severi won't allow it. David works his way into full mount! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. David is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Severi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Severi shrugs it off. David postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Severi looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. David looking for a guillotine from mount but Severi is having none of it. David takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. David tries to control but Severi wriggling away. David lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. David scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Severi?
David with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
David takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. David lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Severi hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round. David cracks Severi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

David is landing with some decent strikes but Severi is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. David looking to secure an arm triangle but Severi defends it well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! David looking to control and managing it successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. David looking to finish Severi with some ground and pound. This is bad for Severi! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grant David showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Severi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Severi wants it to stay on the feet. Severi keeps the fight on the outside. David tries to score a power double leg takedown but Severi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten David somewhat. David tries for a takedown but Severi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gabz Severi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grant David. Severi throws a left and a right that both miss
so David counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. David stands and steps away. Severi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Severi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by David.
That's one minute gone in the round. David looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. David misses with a takedown attempt - Severi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Severi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but David moves out of range and avoids them all easily. David drives through with a takedown into guard. David postures up in Severi's guard and throws a big left but Severi blocks it. David trying to control the position from guard on top but Severi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David stands up from guard. Let's bang! Severi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but David manages to avoid it. No luck with that takedown attempt from David. David shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Severi as he avoids it easily. Severi throws an overhand right that lands on David's shoulder, as David tries to avoid the shot. Gabz Severi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. David looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Severi is fending him off so far but David persists. Nope, Severi circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Severi. Those never looked like landing. David tries to close the distance and clinch but Severi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. David fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Severi misses with a wild combination.
Gabz Severi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Severi dodges the punch combination from David.
Severi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and David counters with a good, hard body kick but Severi shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Severi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and David counters into the clinch. Nicely done. David keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Severi's efforts to push away. David tries to pull guard but Severi won't allow it.
David tries for a takedown. No joy.
David has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Severi after a bit of a struggle. David fails to pull the fight into his guard.
David goes for a takedown attempt but Severi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Severi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by David.
And that's the end of the fight! Grant David comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think David has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
