Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Balls Deep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Ellison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellison drives through and clinches with Deep against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ellison wants the takedown. Deep is fighting it off but Ellison persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Deep's guard against the cage.

Deep is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ellison defends well.
Ellison has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Deep is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ellison cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ellison is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Deep can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ellison has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Deep to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ellison is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Deep pulls down on the head and he's put Ellison to sleep! This one is all over!
