The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukamachi shoots for a takedown but Ramirez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ramirez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ramirez connects with a nice looking jab.
Ramirez throws a right and a left that Fukamachi avoids nicely.
Fukamachi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fukamachi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ramirez.
Fukamachi shoots in looking for a takedown but Ramirez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fukamachi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fukamachi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ramirez defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sho Fukamachi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fukamachi shoots in but Ramirez avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ramirez lands a big right hand that sends Fukamachi crashing to the mat! Ramirez stays standing though and waves Fukamachi back to his feet!
Fukamachi is rocked!
Ramirez sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Fukamachi's defenses. It connects perfectly with Fukamachi's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
