Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdullah Rahid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyypia comes into the arena with Hang out the stars in Indiana blaring out of the sound system. Abdullah Rahid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sami Hyypia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Abdullah Rahid! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyypia avoids the head kick by Rahid.
Rahid darts in trying to clinch and Hyypia counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Rahid being controlled here, momentarily. Rahid wants to stand up but Hyypia is controlling him.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sami Hyypia wasn't doing enough on the ground. Hyypia blocks a head kick by Rahid.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyypia closes the distance and clinches up with Rahid, looking for a takedown. Hyypia pushes Rahid against the cage but Rahid circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rahid misses with a two punch combination.
Rahid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rahid pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hyypia blocks a head kick by Rahid.
Hyypia bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hyypia is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rahid is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rahid is letting Hyypia control him for a moment. Hyypia scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rahid to see if he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Hyypia connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rahid some visible discomfort.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hyypia stands up and beckons Rahid to his feet. Rahid pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rahid looks gassed! Hyypia drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hyypia creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hyypia taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyypia is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rahid has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hyypia controlling from side mount. Rahid takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hyypia decides to stand back up. Rahid darts in trying to clinch and Hyypia counters by clinching up. Hyypia jumps guard.
Hyypia pulls Rahid in to control the position. Rahid wants to stand but Hyypia has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hyypia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hyypia tries to get out of the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hyypia doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sami Hyypia dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hyypia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rahid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rahid throws a right hand that Hyypia ducks under and follows up with a left that Hyypia also avoids with ease. Rahid tries to bum rush Hyypia with a series of wild strikes but Hyypia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rahid with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hyypia gets a takedown into half guard. Hyypia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rahid is trying to stand back up but Hyypia is controlling him
Hyypia moves into full mount! Rahid won't be happy about that! Rahid is breathing heavily. Hyypia controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyypia unloading with bombs! Hyypia lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
It looks like Abdullah Rahid has been cut. Hyypia controlling the position easily from mount. Hyypia scoring with strikes but Rahid is staying in there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hyypia has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Rahid is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sami Hyypia! A relieved looking Sami Hyypia thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
