Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fletcher has chosen Razor's Edge as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Maximus Meridius has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fletcher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Maximus Meridius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meridius throws a series of strikes that have Fletcher backpedaling.
A swing and a miss from Fletcher.
Meridius wants to clinch up but Fletcher keeps it at a distance.
Meridius throws a shot from downtown. Fletcher moves away and avoids it.
Meridius tries to land a leg kick but Fletcher saw it coming and moves away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Meridius.
Meridius lands a glancing blow to the side of Fletcher's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A right-left combo lands from Meridius.
Meridius connects with a body shot that sends Fletcher's belly button to the back.
Fletcher tries to keep at a distance but Meridius has taken the fight into the clinch.
Meridius lands a shoulder strike.
Meridius is trying to force a seperation but Fletcher has the dominant position.
Meridius can't break the clinch.
Meridius misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meridius stalling in the clinch but Fletcher improves position.
Meridius tries to circle away but Fletcher has him pinned against the cage.
Meridius looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Fletcher misses with the head strike.
Meridius breaks from the clinch.
Fletcher swings for the body but Meridius moves out of range.
Meridius lands a jab-cross combination.
Meridius lands a big uppercut and Fletcher crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fletcher looks OK. Meridius waves Fletcher back to his feet!
Fletcher is rocked!
Fletcher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fletcher is still on wobbly legs! Can Meridius finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Meridius grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Fletcher takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Meridius cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
