The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Udalenkiy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lyswski's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lyswski closes the distance and clinches up with Udalenkiy, looking for a takedown. Lyswski pushes Udalenkiy against the cage but Udalenkiy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lyswski is staying active underneath Udalenkiy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Udalenkiy is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lyswski gets his way!
Udalenkiy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lyswski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lyswski is working for a rear naked choke. Udalenkiy is not defending it well and Lyswski has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Udalenkiy refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Udalenkiy's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
