Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenji Kang!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
Silva drives through and clinches with Kang against the cage.
Kang fails to pull guard.
Kang pulls guard successfully.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Silva controlling from the top position.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kang is proving hard to escape from.
Kang can't keep his opponent in guard - Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Still in half guard, Silva seems content to control.
Kang tries to get to full guard but Silva has control of the leg.
Kang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kang is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Silva wants to pass the guard but Kang is defending well.
Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva seems to be looking for submissions.
Kang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kang actively working from the bottom here.
Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kang defends it well.
Kang is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kang looks gassed!

Claudio Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenji Kang.
Silva rushes Kang and presses him up against the cage.

Silva has picked Kang up - he's going for a ride! Silva dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Still in half guard, Silva seems content to control.
Kang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silva pulls his head out easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kang rolls, trying to escape but Silva keeps control of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Kang is tapping out! This one is all over!
