Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Nowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Gromowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nowell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Doin Time. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Nowell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Gromowski! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gromowski throws the left hand but Nowell avoids the punch easily. Nowell scores a takedown into full mount! Gromowski tries to lock up and control but Nowell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nowell looking to control and managing it successfully. Nowell trying to control but Gromowski is having none of it. Nowell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bradley Nowell just wasn't active enough. Nowell misses with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gromowski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nowell takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gromowski scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nowell fails in his attempt to clinch. Gromowski throws a head kick that misses. Gromowski dodges the punch combination from Nowell.

Gromowski with a hook. Some bone on bone action there as Gromowski checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A jab lands there for Gromowski. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nowell has closed the distance and engaged Gromowski in a clinch.
Gromowski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gromowski pulls guard effortlessly. Nowell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nowell trying to control but Gromowski is working from the bottom. Gromowski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nowell defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gromowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nowell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gromowski keeping moving, preventing Nowell from controlling successfully. Gromowski is looking for a triangle but Nowell pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nowell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nowell looking to sit in guard and control but Gromowski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gromowski trying to control but Nowell is working from the bottom. Nowell wants to stand up but Gromowski is controlling him. Gromowski throwing strikes but missing. Gromowski sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michael Gromowski wasn't active enough on the ground. Nowell moves to clinch but Gromowski breaks away and Gromowski counters with a left to the body. Gromowski looks to land a right hand but Nowell moved out of range. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nowell. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gromowski is looking for a sweep. Nowell throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Gromowski is looking to reverse the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gromowski takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Gromowski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nowell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gromowski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Michael Gromowski will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gromowski throws a jab but it's blocked by Nowell. Nowell staying out of range there. Nowell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice body punch from Gromowski. Gromowski throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nowell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nowell lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bradley Nowell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nowell misses with a straight right. Gromowski gets caught flat footed, as Nowell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Gromowski wants to sweep here but Nowell controlling him for the moment. Nowell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Nowell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. This has been an exciting period of action! Gromowski looking for subs off his back but Nowell has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nowell throwing shots but Gromowski is blocking nicely. Gromowski is refusing to be controlled, as Nowell sits in half guard. Nowell content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nowell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gromowski keeps working. Gromowski looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Nowell pushes past his half guard into mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gromowski wants to hold on but Nowell pushes him away. Nowell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gromowski's face.
Bradley Nowell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nowell looking to control and managing it successfully. Nowell unloads with some shots from mount but Gromowski bucks and avoids them well.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gromowski is trying to maintain the position but Nowell is very close to passing his half guard. Gromowski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gromowski is refusing to be controlled, as Nowell sits in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nowell in side control, just content to control the action for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gromowski is not content to let Nowell control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nowell moves into range and clinches up with Gromowski. With the fighters up against the cage, Nowell throws an elbow but misses. Gromowski dodges an elbow strike from Nowell.

Gromowski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nowell walks away with a smile on his face. Gromowski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fighters circling - Gromowski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gromowski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gromowski fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Nowell checks it well. The fight stays on the outside here - Nowell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nowell has Gromowski up against the cage in a clinch.

Gromowski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nowell is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Gromowski throws an elbow but misses. Gromowski is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nowell is defending well for now. Gromowski with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Nowell is looking to work some ground and pound but Gromowski has wrist control. Gromowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nowell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nowell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Nowell trying to control the position from guard on top but Gromowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gromowski is not content to let Nowell control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nowell in side control, just content to control the action for now. Nowell trying to control the action but Gromowski is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Gromowski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Nowell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gromowski has escaped the position, nice work there. Nowell tries to advance to mount but can't. Gromowski managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Nowell.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gromowski is trying to get back to half guard. Nowell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gromowski keeps working. Nowell moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Nowell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gromowski, who protects the arm well. Gromowski is trying to control Nowell's posture but Nowell avoids it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Bradley Nowell showed his dominance in that final round. I think Nowell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
