Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristian Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nielsen has chosen John Frusciante - Murderers as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Rock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kristian Nielsen! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nielsen is able to avoid easily. Nielsen checks a leg kick. Rock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nielsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Rock. A leg kick checked by Nielsen. Rock throws an off balance right hand
and Nielsen counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rock closes the distance and clinches. Rock has Nielsen pressed against the cage, preventing Nielsen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Nielsen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rock throws the kick towards the body but Nielsen avoids it. Rock tries to clinch up letting Nielsen counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rock closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rock pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nielsen is out of range and Rock settles back down. Rock doesn't manage to clinch there - Nielsen circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rock moves to clinch but Nielsen breaks away and Nielsen counters with a nice uppercut. Rock tries to clinch up but Nielsen circles away and keeps his distance. Rock wants to clinch up but Nielsen keeps it at a distance. Rock slips under a jab. Nielsen throws a looping overhand right but Rock ducks down to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rock moves in looking to clinch but Nielsen pushes him off. Nielsen throws a hook but Rock avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nielsen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rock looks to land a combination but Nielsen avoids it well. Nielsen ducks under a wild hook from Rock. Rock looking to land some kicks to the body here.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Nielsen in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Rock lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nielsen backwards. Rock trying to land knees to the body.

Nielsen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rock throws a leg kick and Nielsen counters with a straight right hand. Rock bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Rock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nielsen circles away from the clinch attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rock digs a right hand underneath Nielsen's ribcage. Nielsen let out a lung full of air as it connected. Nielsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Rock finish him? Rock dips a shoulder and cracks Nielsen with a mighty uppercut! Nielsen falls back against the cage and Rock unloads with a barrage of strikes! Nielsen is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rock screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
