The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koussa throws a nice looking combination but Long bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jake Long seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Long shoots in for a takedown but Koussa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Long fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Long takes a body punch but keeps moving. A decent looking cross lands there for Koussa. Long takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Jake Long has been cut. Koussa scores with a jab. Long walks into a stiff left hand from Koussa.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Long is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jake Long dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jake Long's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Koussa jabs Long to the body, keeping him at a distance. Long fails with the takedown and Koussa counters with a stiff right hand. Long shoots in and drives through. Koussa sprawls well. Koussa throws a good cross that connects.

Long shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Koussa defends it nicely. Long shoots in for a takedown but Koussa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Koussa stuffs the takedown. Koussa goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Koussa lands a head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Koussa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koussa dips to his left and cracks Long with an uppercut! Koussa cracks Long on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Long falls backwards against the cage. Koussa follows up with more strikes that drop Long to his knees. Koussa keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Long! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moussa Koussa!
