Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hulohot Yokohama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yokohama's entrance music is Metallica - All Nightmare Long. A fine choice. Devin Buckner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hulohot Yokohama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Devin Buckner!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckner tries to score with a low kick but Yokohama moves his leg out of the way.
Yokohama circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yokohama fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yokohama moves out of range of the leg kick from Buckner.
Yokohama shoots in but Buckner avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Yokohama feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Buckner has his foot on Yokohama's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yokohama works his way back into a safe position though.

Buckner has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yokohama is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Buckner.
Buckner is looking to regain half guard here but Yokohama keeps moving and retains side control.
Yokohama is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buckner's shoulder. That is not cool.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buckner tries to buck Yokohama off but Yokohama is having none of it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Buckner is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Yokohama's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Yokohama! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Buckner has tapped! This one is allllll over!
